Step-by-Step instructions for making Banana Pancakes from Pancake Mix

Mash the Banana
Peel a banana that is ripe and mix it into a bowl with a fork to make it smooth. You can also add tiny lumps to create texture.

Prepare the Batter
Mix in a bowl. mix 1 cup pancake mix, the banana mashed and 3/4 cup of milk one egg (optional) as well as 1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional). Stir until all ingredients are mixed. Make sure not to overmix Some lumps are fine!

Heat the Skillet
Cook a non-stick skillet or griddle on medium heat. Lightly grease the skillet with oil or butter.

Cook the Pancakes
Place 1/4 cup of the batter into your skillet to cook each pancake. Cook until bubbles appear over the pancakes and edges appear to be set, around 2 to 3 minutes. Turn the pancakes over and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until they are golden brown.
